The J90 is a new compact carrier board wth the lowest vertical size. There are no components on the bottom side. The J90 is the fully featured version: 2x UART, 2x CSI-2 (22 pin, 0.5mm pitch for IMX219 camera or B102 module), 100BT Ethernet (capacitive coupled – for short connections within a system or a room), 2x I2C (3.3V), 1x SPI (3.3V), GPIOs (3.3V), 1x micro USB 2.0, 1x micro USB 3.0, fan connector, 2nd CSI-2 (22 pin, 0.5mm pitch), 1x CAN (TX2 only), IMU (MPU-9250), and watchdog (STM32F042 MCU). Optional 40 pin RPi like GPIO header (this header may be added on the bottom side – note: some signals are 1.8V level). The J90 starts shipping in June 2017. Watchdog (MCU):
The MCU is powered as soon as power is connected to the J90 carrier board. Is is powered by a LDO which supports an input voltage up to 30V. The MCU can enable power to the J90 carrier board when in the voltage is in the supported voltage range (7 to 17V). The MCU monitors the power input, 5V, 3.3V and 1.8V rails. The UART0 console port of the TX1/TX2 is piped through the MCU. This allows the MCU to monitor the operating status of the TX1 and TX2. The MCU can take action and hardware reset the TX1/TX2 or power it down. The MCU is a 32 bit ARM Cortex M0 micro controller with 32kB Flash and 6kB RAM. It is programmed in C and source code (Atollic TrueStudio project) can be provided. Please contact us for details.
